Golo Koe Sejahtera: The Cheapest Homestay with Private Room in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia

Golo Koe is known as one of suburb area in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Labuan Bajo is known for their beautiful and magnificent panoramas, such as Bukit Waringin, Padar Island, Komodo Dragon, and many more. Each year, Labuan Bajo attracted thousands tourists from around the world. 

I visited this island in early May of 2022, just after the travel requirements in Indonesia changed, so I don't have to attached covid-19 test if I have booster vaccinated (third vaccine). I went there by ships from my town in Makassar, South Sulawesi. It was about 19 hours of sailing with only 10USD. I arrived about 23.00 and already booked a bed in dormitory room at one of cheap hotel for about 80.000 rupiahs or 5.46USD. 

It was a nice room. I get one single bed with total of 4 bed in dormitory room and a fan + breakfast. But, as a backpacker, I need cheaper room that I could share with my friend and women friendly. So I looked up at some app, such as traveloka, tiket.com, booking.com, agoda, and OYO app. 

Nicely, I got a very nice room with a bed for two just 250.000 rupiahs or 17USD for three nights what I could share with my friend (note: I am using OYO app that allows me to get a huge discount). 

The room is really a steal! I got a clean room, an nice private bathroom, an air conditioner, and a calm environment. This homestay are located about 6 km from the central, let's say Kampung Ujung or the harbor. 

I really appreciate the staff because they are so nice, that's why I am really happy if I could help them with the marketing since this homestay is consider new. They are really nice and sweet, so I could guarantee you a good stay with a very cheap price. 

I don't really good in English, but I hope my review could help any backpacker from around the world that happened to visit Labuan Bajo and looking for a cheap and homey place to stay. This homestay is must visit. you can search the address in google maps.
